Appendix: Hitchcock Filmography
The date of a British film indicates the year of its initial presenta-tion
at a trade show; the date of an American film indicates the year of its
American premiere. The studio listing indicates the major studio involved
in the production of each film; individual producers and releasing companies
are usually not included. Cast listings are provided for those actors
who are identified above by name as opposed to role (e.g., "the heroine").
The listing of television films is taken from the article by Jack Edmund
Nolan. More complete credits for Hitchcock's feature films can be found
in the books by Truffaut and Wood.
